Bari World: Jabari Goes Cross Country
In the works are projects aimed to give back to the communities Jabari is a part of. Below are two projects that the family is working on, and we would like to hear your feedback. More information and finalizations about the two are to be made shortly.
Travel was one of the many things Jabari was willing and excited to do, whether it be in the United States or outside. It is never too late to take him up on that. Bari World: Bari Goes Cross Country is a project that will take Jabari with us on a journey across the United States! Those who take part will document the places visited in a particular state, taking a picture with Jabari, and then relaying to the next until he returns home in Pennsylvania.
Tracking
Starting in Pennsylvania, a commissioned photo of Jabari will make its way through the states. The service of choice, the United States Postal Service, is what each participant will use to send the photo to the next person. Accompanying the picture will be a QR code in which each person will scan and check in to the Bari World Facebook page. From there, you will check in with a post, a picture of you and Jabari, along with the state you are currently in and what you did with Jabari for the day.
THE BARI HOUSE is getting an upgrade. The first few years of Jabari's life took place in Philadelphia. The memories made there with the family is something we want his close friends to be part of too! The renovation project of Jabari’s, childhood home will begin, and we invite you to make new memories there and keep his legacy alive. One thing to look forward to in the newly renovated space is a mural made by his sisters, Danielle and Jaanai. If you wish to partake in the mural, contact Danielle at pelledanielle98@gmail.com for any artwork submissions.
I'm excited to see The BARI House come to light and really have a positive impact.”

Bari’s House
Construction Begins
Construction on the respite of nonprofit Bari’s House for grieving Families is currently underway in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. RMAC construction corporation and Big K Homes the general contractors for the project, located at 235 South Edgewood St. Will provide a safe, welcoming place for families to heal and connect.
To share the Homes progress, the nonprofit’s founders, Donna and Noel Pelle are available for updates and completion projected date. The new purpose-built home will allow Bari’s House to expand its ability to help grieving families and engage local, regional and national audiences in opportunities to create more grief-sensitive communities. The mission of Bari’s House is to help families grieving a death find connection and healing, its vision that no family should be alone in grief.
Check out the demolition progress and what the building currently looks like inside by watching our video below. We will post more updates as construction continues through this summer and fall. Enjoy!
The Bari House
When our son Jabari Noel Pelle died in 2020, it was the darkest day of our lives, i gave up. But along our path to healing we realized we wanted to give back to families who were also grieving the loss of an important person in their lives. The death of a loved one is life altering especially a child. This is not the correct order of things.
In our grief their were friends and family to console us this was enormous and emotional. We have express our gratitude and love for one special individual i call her Jules, JRC. When everyone else left she was there for us to hold onto. She packed us up, no charge no nothing and took us away to her timeshare villa without hesitation. This is where true compassion and support meets in the crossroads of heartache and despair.
Bari’s House a nonprofit Foundation with the vision that no Family should be alone in grief, was birthed.
Our mission is to help families grieving a death find connection and healing.
We invite and value the unique and shared universal experience of grief. Compassion
We hold ourselves and each other accountable for the purpose that connects us to Bari’s House. Accountability
To strive for continuous growth by challenging the status quo, discovering blind spots, and learning from our accomplishments and mistakes. Courage
We value differences and promote environments where everyone can authentically express themselves to advance equity and understanding. Respect
We Are All Connected
These connections are purposeful to helping the families feel like they aren’t alone in their grief and that they have a community supporting them. Helping to shine a light in dark times for families grieving a death loss. Talking about grief is difficult. Experiencing grief is difficult. Bari’s House was founded to provide grieving families with a safe place to talk about their experiences and emotions. Healing
